We produce all of our own materials for each project with samples created to specifications. Our materials are created using Canadian sources whenever possible and we source as locally as possible. Our products do not emit VOCs and are conducive to a healthy home environment.

We have a wide variety of materials available for skilled professionals: slaked lime putty, additives and binders, gypsum: type A & B and gaging, variety of sands: marble, river sand, silica etc. If you don't see what you are looking for listed here, we can source and broker widely.

We have heard other plasterers trying to take credit for the cave space at AND/ORE. Fat Lime Finishing independently engineered all the materials and substrate systems for AND/ORE’s distinctive below ground space. Our solid plastering technique does not rely on foam with a thin coating; we create a space which feels like solid stone, is highly durable in a public space and lasts the test of time. We can design and build a sculptural space which will create a unique experience. We can manipulate the final appearance so that we can run from heavily shaped to emulate both natural and cut stone to a polished surface. Don’t let someone tell you that foam will make a convincing base for replicating stone. Talk to us instead.
